My Philosophy

I’m old school. I believe in a day’s pay for a hard day’s work. I don’t believe in taking shortcuts. If someone is going to entrust me with their project, I want them to feel comfortable throughout. This includes making myself available whenever they have a question or concern. It also means being proactive and keeping my customers up-to-date during the entire process and afterwards.

Many people aren’t familiar with solar and the options available. That is why you see solar consultants knocking on doors to educate the public. I am in my mid 50’s and while I still knock on doors and enjoy the face-to-face interactions, I do not love New Jersey’s cold winters or heat waves in the summer. So I build my business by focusing on exceeding expectations, networking and referrals.

How do I earn trust and referrals? First, I lead with my best deal. I do not want anyone thinking their neighbor got treated better than they did. Not only is it bad for business, it is not the way I would want to be treated. I would rather do 50 solar installations with happy customers referring me to their friends and family than do 50 solar installations where I make a sizeable commission.

If someone offers you a better deal on Solar than me, I suggest you take it!

I surround myself with a great team. I would say they are the best in NJ! There are a bunch of steps that need to take place between exploring solar and the actual installation on your roof. My team and I make sure everything goes as smoothly as possible. You will receive regular updates from me and the team about your project.

What’s the Catch?

I often hear, “How is it possible to have solar installed with no money out of pocket and still save a significant amount on my electric usage?” It sounds too good to be true! But it is not. The federal and state incentives make it possible. Truth is, the State of NJ wants you to go solar. We have a Clean Energy Mandate in NJ, which states 100% of our energy should come from renewable sources by 2035. Whether that happens or not is yet to be seen, but early adopters and those going solar today will reap the benefits.

Not every home is going to be a good candidate.. A lot has to do with the amount of sun exposure one gets in a year. There are also structural and other limitations. In addition, the electric company needs to approve your home. At this moment in South Jersey, there are entire areas blocked out by Atlantic City Electric where homeowners who want solar are not able to go solar.

We are here for you and will work with you to overcome obstacles. Removing an unwanted tree and/or replacing a roof are the two most common. Oftentimes, we can bundle it in with the deal. And you can still benefit from no money out of pocket and sizeable savings on your electric bill.

I am committed to doing the right thing by my customers. I will only agree to an installation if I can save you a significant amount off what you are currently paying.

What’s the Next Step?

Going Solar is a process. At any point during that process and prior to installation, you can make the decision not to move forward. I’ll respect your decision and won’t take it personally.

Whether you are looking to learn more, explore your options or are committed to going solar in the near future, I can help. The next step would be for me to put together a design, which will show you your home’s potential for solar savings. We may discover that your home is not a good candidate. Or perhaps your home will be a great fit!

Feel free to reach out to me. You can do so on the Contact page. In addition to your contact information, a recent electric bill would be helpful in providing you with the most accurate information.

Please note that you will be dealing with me. I will not share your information with anyone, other than my team should you decide to move on to the next steps.
